Making Lunch Golden
Fall may be coming up fast, but school is still here and lunches can be hard! Here are a couple great lunches for you and the kids!
Hawaiian grilled chicken
4-6 chicken breasts
1/4 cup soy sauce
3tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
1/4 Golden Eagle
2tsp Fresh minced garlic
1/2 tsp ginger
1Tbsp brown mustard
1 tsp Pepper
1 can pineapple slices with juice
Mix all ingredients together and marinate chicken for up to 24 hours( I usually leave mine for about 3). Light charcoal to prepare the grill. Once the charcoal is ready place chicken and pineapple on grill and cook for 3 minutes on each side. After the three minutes baste with melted butter and salt and pepper. ( if pineapple looks done at this time go ahead and remove from the grill)Cook for an additional 3 minutes on each side or until meat thermometer reads 165 degreees.
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup GE
1/3 cup oil
1 1/2 cups self rising flour
1 package mini m&m
Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl until incorporated. Pour into a parchment lined 9x13. Sprinkle with flour so your hands don’t stick to the dough and press into the pan until it is even. Evenly press m&ms on top of dough and bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes until lightly golden brown.
Golden Ham and Cheese Sliders

Cut rolls in half and spread Golden Mustard onto 1 side of the rolls. Place a slice or two of ham and slice of swiss cheese in roll. Replace the top of the rolls and bunch them closely together into a baking dish.
In a medium bowl, whisk together poppy seeds, Golden Mustard, melted butter, onion powder and Worcestershire sauce.
Pour sauce over the rolls, just covering the tops. Cover with foil and let sit for 10 minutes.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Uncover and cook for additional 2 minutes until tops are slightly browned and crisp. Serve warm.
